How do you start your week? Do you have a routine where you look at your goals?
In our model we set goals in 6 fundamental areas.
Physical
Financial
Family
Reputational
Building
Fun
We set big scary goal in each of these areas. Extremely aspirational, stretch for the stars, type goals:
As an example mine are:
Fittest ever @ 50
$100K / Stacked Months
Fully Alive Dad
World famous work
200 Strong Clients
Smash work/life divide
You’ll notice these goals are only 3-4 words long. They must be short. If your goals are too hard to say, write or explain then they probably won’t happen.
Get your goals short, crisp and emotional enough to get your motor running.
Anyway, every Monday I do two things:
I look at these goals and I set tasks for the week that will get me moving in the direction of these goals .
I ask myself who am I when I achieve these goals? And then I become that person today.
You can achieve anything you want in life but none of it happens by accident.
