I look at you.
I stare into the future and I see myself sitting in an old comfy arm chair with my legs up and the the TV on much too loud.
Every fibre of my being hopes that in 40 years I am not sitting in a retirement home like my mama did. Living on my lonesome. Watching TV for 15 hours a day. Waiting for family to visit once or twice a week.
I want more for you.
When I look into the future I know who I want to see…
The funny old fool who through missing teeth, a beautiful grin and wrinkled skin, and a warm old heart will say… “I’m the happiest, cheekiest, most alive old man the world has ever known.”
That’s what I want for you…
