Inertia is our enemy…
Feeling stuck, overwhelmed, unsure what decision to make.
The indecision is our foe.
It’s like being stuck in mud and slowly sinking. Should you call out to the person nearby and ask for help? Or should you lie down, spread your weight out and crawl through the mud?
You cannot decide and so you do nothing.
There is a key to getting unstuck and that is to understand that any action is better than no action at all.
Forward motion is critical, otherwise you will stay in the mud.
Go for a run. Commit to trying something different for a month. Call a friend. Ask for help. Get out of the office and work from a local cafe. Anything is always better than nothing when you are stuck in the mud.
