This pierced something soft in me. Kindness like that doesn’t just soothe wounds, it rewrites something deep in our spirit. To be met with compassion when we expect punishment… it’s unforgettable. That kind of moment plants a seed. It teaches us what love without condition looks like. Thank you for sharing this scarred yet sacred memory. It’s proof that kindness can change a life—and sometimes, it starts with a simple, ‘Are you okay?’

yes... that is a good reminder... Are you okay? I shall put that further to the front of my brain and right in the center of my heart... the first thing is care and to see the humanity of others... Thanks Sally

What a powerful story!!! Sometimes it’s the moments we expect judgment that kindness hits hardest. That farmer’s compassion clearly left a lasting mark, both on your arm and your heart.

You’re truly lucky—not only because you were left with just a scar after the incident, but also because you met such a kind and wise man at a young age. ❤️
