I thought I was about to have a heart attack.
Sharp pains were stabbing at my chest.
I collapsed, sitting down on a jagged rock, a million miles from nowhere on the rugged New Zealand coast.
“Are you okay, Dad?” the soft, innocent voice of my 12-year-old son.
“Yeah, I’m okay, son,” I lied.
