Have you ever dated the wrong person?

The wrong girl or guy?

I have and it was terrible.

It was someone with a completely different value system…

A person whose sense of humor was so uniquely different to mine, that when they belly laughed I thought… How is this even funny?

There is typically no future in these relationships. Unless one person dies a metaphoric death and allows themselves to merge into someone they are not.

Here’s the thing…

This doesn’t only occur in romantic relationships. It occurs in all our relationships AND it is often present in how agents build out their own spheres.

This will hurt you more than you might imagine.

When you are surrounded by people who simply don’t resonate with you, life is hard.

I remember years ago working with Mary, a really lovely REALTOR in the North East.

She quietly confessed to me that she really did not like her clients. They didn’t share her values, she didn’t resonate with them.

It was a big problem, I was glad we solved it for her.

One of the greatest consequences in surrounding yourself with people who are “not a fit” is that it becomes very difficult to fully be yourself. It’s much harder to share your truth, to live that big bold life you were designed to live.

This will have a profound effect on your business.

Your energy output will be smashed, your enthusiasm is lowered, and you will be referred at a much lower rate.

There are many ways to change the composition of your sphere, but for our paid supporters ($7/month) I’ve outlined a really simple strategy below.
