What Makes a Man Brave?

What makes a man brave?

It is certainly not the abuse of power or the crushing of someone smaller through the weight of force.

Brutality is not bravery.

Loud does not equal strong.

Why have we fallen into the age old trap of believing that a mean leader is a good leader?

Why do we think that this citizens of this world need to be forced into line by an authoritative ruler?

This is happening in every domain…

Parents squash the objections of children.

Organizations choose hard nosed assholes to be managers.

Women are believing that they need a leader who will tell them the hard truth.

Religions are coercing people into believing in a God that has a number of rules and if you break those rules, you are in big trouble.

Not everyone but it is happening. The mean bros are taking over the Internet.

No freedom to be found here AND not a whole lot of love.

When I feel myself being controlled, contained or manipulated by a person or a system, I feel physically sick.

There is actual darkness at play here. The suppression of the human spirit.

Don’t love the strongman for he does not care for you. He only loves himself.

Instead choose friends, lovers, parental figures, mentors, managers, belief systems and leaders who are…

… strong enough to be kind…

… good people who are not afraid to listen…

Let’s us not retreat further back into the darkness…

Move with love.
