To be or not to be?
That is not the question. The actual question is this:
Will you live with courage?
This has always been the question. It is the single big ask that life makes of all us.
Courage to leave the couch.
Courage to chase your dreams.
Courage to leave a toxic relationship.
Courage to step out from the crowd and use your voice to support others.
There is always a cost to courage. You might appear odd, foolish, weak, and in many cases for a brief season, alone.
But the cost to not being courageous is far greater.
The cost of years spent, wasted, forever lost in embracing the least powerful and least alive version of yourself.
The cost of depression and deep regret that only comes from knowing that you never tried.
A lack of courage is so expensive, so deeply sad, so incredibly disappointing.
Will you be brave with me?
Will you rise from the couch of your comfort?
Will you stand up for those who are being oppressed?
Will you seek to find and use the full pier of your voice?
Will you have courage? It is easier if we have courage together.
That is the question.
Much love
