A fishing hook through my son's finger
WARNING: Dangerous for your real estate business!
My 10-year-old rammed a fishing hook through his finger yesterday... IT was like a horror movieā¦
Read on below the warning...
---> WARNING - Reading this will be dangerous for your real estate business
He was fishing on the wharf when his finger slipped and he hooked himself on a recurve hook with a particularly nasty barb.
Almost right through the finger...
I tried to help him. Mom tried to help him... BUT there was no moving that hook.
Obviously he was super upset...
Worried that he would have to go through life with a hook stuck in his hand forever LOL!
So after some coaxing we decided to drive an hour through the hills to the nearest ER department.
As a parent you always wonder what kind of medical professional is going to turn up to help your kids when they are hurt...
Will it be the stressed, over-worked Doctor who doesn't stop to say hello, who barges into the room and tries to yank that thing out... causing ENDLESS NIGHTMARES!
And this is the part of my story that will be so good for your real estate business friend...
There was a male nurse called Avi... kindness written in his eyes.
The kind of person who remembers what it is like to be a child and to have an accident...
The hospital was busy and a bit COVID crazy...
Avi got real low, right at my son's level, he looked him in the eye and said these words...
"There are a lot of crazy things happening in this hospital tonight, but I don't want you to worry about any of them. I am here ONLY for you..."
Such beautiful kindness, such a generous spirit. From that moment on we knew that we were in good hands, that everything would in fact be okay...
Perhaps today when your clients are stressed, acting out, feeling the pressure of the market, you may approach them a little like our nurse Avi...
Get real low (humble), look them in the eyes and say...
"There are a lot of crazy things happening in the real estate market right now BUT I don't want you to worry about any of it... I am here ONLY for you"
Try it... you will make a fan for life!
